Transformation: The Butterfly

This little story is about life and death, how they are both part of transformation.

It is in death that our transformative journey begins anew. We like the caterpillar, crawl the dirt and eat the apple, till our form is all but nearly spent.

Breath forfeits form in life's final moments but intelligence remains. Cloaked in the cocoon of quiet slumber, the caterpillar dies and life goes about it's retooling; transforming function into new form.

Emerging from the sleeping side of life, the caterpillar stretches forth its wings of Technicolor as breath fills forms anew. The Great Creator, revealed in brevity, returns to the world and the journey of the butterfly begins.
